"Karl Rove isn't all-powerful; he is a rejected loser. Republicans don't possess the power to dictate the outcome of elections with secret Diebold software. They can't magically produce Osama bin Laden the day before the election. They don't have the power to snap their fingers and hypnotize zombified Americans by exploiting a New Jersey court ruling on civil unions, or a John Kerry comment, or moronic buzzphrases and slogans designed to hide the truth (Americans heard all about how Democrats would bring their "San Francisco values" and their love of The Terrorists to Washington, and that moved nobody). It simply isn't the case that we are doomed and destined to lose at the hands of all-powerful, evil forces."

Santorum Intern collected signatures in Beaver, Washington, Fayette, Juniata, and Schuylkill Counties in 1 day.

According to mapquest, driving this route would take about 8 hours. Assuming he stopped in each county to collect signatures.
If he drove only from Pittsburgh to Allentown...that's about 5 hours of driving time.
I'm wondering how many Green Party Signatures he picked up in each of those counties? How many Republicans?
How many TOTAL signatures were collected on that day?
WHAT A HARD WORKER!!!!!
No matter those answers, this intern is certainly dedicated in getting Romanelli on the ballot.
Ricky Santorum must be proud he has such a hard working intern on his staff helping out his errrrr opposition.

The Bush-Lieberman Election playbook.
This is how its done:
1.As an electable/elected official, select your absolute worst political/personal trait and/or liability.
2. Publically denouce and shellac your opponent with your worst trait/liability over and over. It does not matter if you are totally lying. The more outrageous the better. Force your opponent to deny your accusation over and over.
3. By repeating the accusation ad nauseum, you can frame the issue in the press into a "he said-she said" argument.
4. This will confuse, numb, bore, and disgust your electorate in order to depress voter turnout.
5. Rachet up your core voter/base emotion talking points. Doesn't matter what you believe, just pander to your base. Easy, easy, easy!!
6. Win your election in spite of your personal truths or beliefs or voting history.
